This very busy Department see in excess of 100,000 patients annually. The department has accreditation for advanced training in Emergency Medicine for 2 years by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and is renowned as a 'Finishing school' for Advanced Trainees, Fellows and new Consultants. There is a menu of subspecialty positions available including: Hyperbaric and Dive Medicine, Ultrasound, Medical Education and Simulation, Administration and Health Pathway development, Research, Toxicology and Health Informatics.

An ideal FACEM first year post fellowship; hold current NZ work rights AND current Vocational Registration in the scope of Emergency Medicine. Consideration may also be given to candidates who are eligible to obtain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
