Practice medicine in a dynamic bulk billing clinic providing ample opportunity for career advancement. As a teaching practice, the clinic is able to support a medical practitioners burgeoning career in general practice or for a GP to pursue their own special interests.
The organization offers a full suite of medical services and is support by an extensive multidisciplinary team including fellow GPs, Aboriginal Health Workers, RNs and visiting Allied Health specialists. Constructed as a purpose built facility, the practice is fully computerized and outfitted with the latest equipment. Determined to improve the well being of their patient base and committed to a high standard of treatment where chronic disease is a common presentation, consults are typically 30 minutes.
The organization is offering a competitive remuneration package in addition to flexible contractual arrangements. Choose from working full-time and residing within the community or electing to participate in part-time FIFO arrangements. You also have the ability to opt for a salaried position or to be contracted as a sole trader. The clinic is also including the use of a motor vehicle for use locally as well as residential accommodation. Your general session hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with no weekend work required. However, additional work is available at the local hospital if increased remuneration is desired.

You must be an experienced VR GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) with a current emergency medicine certificate. This is a DPA approved location, so applications are welcomed from overseas-trained VR GPs who are still under moratorium.
