The opportunity
Experience a diverse rural practice with modern facilities and a friendly, supportive team on the South Island. The purpose built, modern practice has spacious premises, utilises MedTech Evolution clinical software and has just on 1900 enrolled patients with steady growth. 6-8 sessions per week, with Friday off. Enjoy 3 day weekends!
You will be an integral part of the 1.4FTE team of GPs, working 8 sessions per week, Tuesday to Friday. Supported by experienced and capable practice nurses, and competent reception and administration staff.
The location
Situated in beautiful North Canterbury, close to the tourist hotspots of Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura. There are many national parks, mountains and lakes to explore in the area. This beautiful area has no social problems and a major city is nearby. Everything in town is within walking distance.
The region abounds in stunning scenery, and is known for its trout and salmon fishing. The booming wine industry continues to grow in the area, with many vineyards to explore and excellent cafes and restaurants around the region to sample the local produce.
Essential criteria
