You will be a well respected member of this high performing clinical team that are committed to the delivery of excellent medical care. The team currently consists of 8 consultants, 8 registrars and includes a close working relationship with the Emergency & Anaesthetics Department; as well as all others in the hospital. The level 2 facility provides a high standard of general intensive care to both adults and children and has a total of 11 beds; as well as providing an intensive care level flight service for Inter-Hospital Transfers for patients requiring specialised care for burns & plastic surgery; cardiothoracic; neurosurgery & critically ill paediatric patients from across the country.
With flexible roster options allowing for a variety of work patterns. On call is shared equally across the department.
Ready & reliable access to annual & CME leave. With dual trained intensive care specialists the team have a strong commitment to teaching; with a high pass rate in CICM exams.
