You will be an essential part of the team of Radiologists providing efficient, effective and professional radiology services to an approximate population of nearly 240,000 in the region. Between the 2 larger hospitals you will have excellent diagnostic facilities at your fingertips with a private MRI facility operational on-site, Toshiba CT scanners, colour doppler ultrasound machines and a Siemens fluoroscopy suite.
As a specialist radiologist in this teaching hospital, the team share on call and teaching/registrar supervision workloads. The clinical workload is stimulating and varied, comprising of interventional and angiography procedures, together with general radiology, ultrasound and MDCT.

An ideal candidate would hold current NZ work rights AND vocational registration in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, consideration may also be given to candidates who are eligible to obtain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
