Locum AMS GP - Far North Queensland

The opportunity

General Practitioners will provide much needed work within remote A&TSI Health Centres located up in Far North QLD. Most clinics operate from 0800-1700 on weekdays and are often solo GP sites. No on call or after hours work required. When working for 2 weeks or longer the client will provide flights & accommodation back in Cairns for weekends.

Essential criteria

To apply for this role, you must hold FRACGP, VR or equivalent qualifications; and General or Specialist registration with AHPRA and an up to date ALS2 Certificate. Experience in working within a remote Indigenous health setting is preferred, as is participation in cultural sensitivity training or other Indigenous Health GP training modules or CPD activities.
