This is your chance to provide support to a range of remote Indigenous medical centres and for potential ongoing opportunities. You will travel to community, alongside a regular GP to allow for in-depth support during your first locum with this service. Once comfortable, there may be GP solo work however with consistent communication between community health services, you are never truely 'alone'. Aboriginal Healthcare Workers and nursing staff will support you day to day and you will see a range of patients for 15 - 60 minute appointments. Your role will be to provide care for chronic healthcare concerns, education and treatment. No on call or after hours required.

To apply for this role, you must hold FRACGP, VR or equivalent qualifications; and General or Specialist registration with AHPRA. Experience in working within a remote Indigenous health setting is preferred, as is experience with Medical Director and participation in cultural sensitivity training or other Indigenous Health GP training modules or CPD activities.
