Locum with an organisation making a considerable difference in the lives of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This opportunity will take you to remote communities of Outback Queensland, where you will be working with a multi-disciplinary team providing invaluable primary care. You will be supported by GPs, Aboriginal Support Workers, registered nurses and visiting allied health specialists offering a range of services.
This locum is an exceptional opportunity providing unique experiences and challenges as well as attractive remuneration. You will be working Monday to Friday,8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no on-call or weekend work required.
Situated in the Gulf of Carpentaria and Outback Queensland, these towns are known for their historic buildings, many species of wildlife and well-developed, successful yet isolated Aboriginal communities.
- FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Previous experience working within a remote Indigenous health setting is preferred, as is participation in cultural sensitivity training
