As one of the few rural certified and Cornerstone Accredited teaching practices they are proudly recognized as a leading rural health service, providing comprehensive, quality, and integrated health services to its community.
The group practice operates from 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a short Saturday walk in clinic from 9.00am - 11.00am every second week. Working 8-10 sessions per week and 1:6 Saturday mornings this role is sure to give a great work-life balance with plenty of fun to be had in your downtime.
This rich community have a strong Maori presence and friendly, welcoming atmosphere so you will feel right at home. Situated on the beautiful countryside at the Southern end of Lake Taupo, this is the ‘trout fishing capital of the world’ and a fantastic central location, within an easy commute from Taupo city. Offering a great work-life balance with access to great mountain biking, skiing and water sports as well as being within easy driving distance of many major North Island attractions such as Tongariro National Park, Mt Ruapehu and Rotorua.
An ideal candidate would have prior experience or an interest in rural practice.
