The opportunity
You will be working as a locum ED SMO in this busy hospital with a great support staff team. This hospital offers a multitude of inpatient and outpatient services including, but not limited to; a 24 hour emergency department, orthopaedic services, acute care, maternity, paediatrics, radiology, general surgery, anaesthetics and pathology services.
The location
Rockhampton is an area that is mountainous and coastal, urban and rural. The region is bordered by the stunning Berserker Ranges overlooking the Fitzroy river. This is a really family-friendly place to locum; with a Zoo, Botanic Gardens and several playgrounds; there's plenty of activities here to keep the kids busy! The Mt Archer National Park is also a beautiful place for a day trip; with an elevated boardwalk offering breath-taking views of the region.
Essential criteria
To be eligible for this role you must
- Have full AHPRA registration
- Have Australian working rights
- Recent ED experience
- Be PGY5 or greater
