The Charters Towers Health Service is a 23-bed facility located in Charters Towers, Queensland. The facility offers a variety of services to the community including accident and emergency care, general in-patient medical, surgical and paediatric services.

The Location

Charters Towers is a rural town in the Charters Towers Region, Queensland, Australia. It is 136 km by road south-west from Townsville on the Flinders Highway.

During the last quarter of the 19th century, the town boomed as the rich gold deposits under the city were developed.

Essential Criteria

To be considered eligible for this role, you must be a vocationally registered GP with ALS2 or equivalent emergency certification.
