The opportunity
This general hospital is in need of locums from March- onwards. They offer a wide variety of health services such as 24/7 emergency department which had over 1500 presentations in the last year, surgery and inpatient. This position sees you work the Emergency Department and/ or GP clinics as well as being rostered to a 1:3 roster. There is opportunity to provide outreach clinics to surrounding remote communities.
The location
Broome is a beautiful town boasting a magnificent landscape. Work in a modern, well equipped hospital incorporating a 66 bed inpatient facility, with the support of resident and visiting specialists.
Essential criteria
To be successful for this position, you must;
- Have full Australian working rights & specialist registration on AHPRA.
- Experience in rural remote settings
- Experience in ED
- Current ED CME qualifications e.g ALS2
- Minimum of 3-4 week locum blocks
