The opportunity
Ochre Medical Centre in Queenstown is looking for locum Rural Generalists. The clinic is a private medical practice attached to the hospital and aged care facility. The practice has the capacity for three full-time doctors who are supported by a full-time Chronic Disease Management trained Registered Nurse and practice staff. The hospital has two emergency and ten acute beds. The role is a mix of General Practice sessions and Emergency (on a roster for on-call out of hours).
The location
Queenstown is the largest town in West Coast region of Tasmania. There are plenty of exciting activities to do in Queenstown such as underground mining tour, visiting historical museums, walks in the wilderness and be amazed by its beautiful waterfalls.
Essential criteria
You must have be an experienced and caring Rural Generalist Doctor (FRACGP or FACRRM) with recent emergency experience and certification (ALS2 or equivalent).
