Locum VR GP AMS – Arnhem Land, NT (MMM7)

• $1500 - $1650 per day (depending on experience and location)

The opportunity

Locum is required in a range of communities so if you're a GP with a passion for Indigenous Health, come, offer your expertise, and be part of an amazing and friendly team of nurses and Aboriginal health workers. 

With over four locations, you will go where you are most needed. Some locations may be supported by another GP or Registrar, however, you may be a solo GP if required, with emergency backups in place, and there is no after-hours or weekend work.

Details:

• Communicare software
• Supported by another GP or may be solo GP depending on dates. Sported by nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers.
• 20 minute minimum consultations
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
• No ED, on call or weekend work

The location

Communities include: Galiwin'ku, Ramingining, Milingimbi, Nhulunbuy, etc.. MM7 Location. Essential Criteria  

• FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications 
• Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• NT Working with Children Check
• Experience in working within a remote Indigenous health setting is preferred
