About the position

We are seeking experience GPs to provide culturally appropriate healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on the Far South Coast of NSW. These full-time locum positions feature a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to enjoy your weekends exploring the stunning landscapes and pristine beaches.

You’ll conduct 20-minute appointments using Communicare software, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. The facilities include comprehensive general practice services, medical and dental clinics, and a variety of allied health services, all aimed at delivering a holistic approach to medical care. Travel, car, and accommodation will be provided, allowing you to focus on making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the community.

They are currently preparing the 2025 roster and are eager to fill it! If you’re interested in securing your spot in advance, please reach out. They ideally seek GPs who can commit to a minimum of 4 weeks and/or are open to returning for additional blocks.

Essential criteria

• FRACGP or VR qualifications and unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Experience with Communicare software desired
• Aboriginal Health experience desired
• NSW WWCC
