The Opportunity
Predominantly GP role, with no oncall. You will be working in one of the largest communities in the Roper Gulf region with a population of 755 people. The community includes four town camps within its boundary - Garawa Camp One, Garawa Camp Two, Yanyula camp and Mara Camp.
The Location
Nestled within the Big River Region, you will find the Roper Gulf region which spans from the edge of Katherine to the Gulf of Carpentaria, encompassing a mix of savannah, wetlands, and rivers. Key attractions include the stunning landscapes of Limmen National Park, the ancient rock art of the Arnhem Land plateau, and the fishing opportunities in the Roper and McArthur Rivers.
Essential Criteria
- FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications and unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- NT WWCC and NT Police Check required
- MUST have recent experience working in Aboriginal Medical Services
