The Opportunity
You may be working as the solo GP, though they hope to have a second GP rostered across all weekdays, along with 2 nurses plus the nurse manager who will all be local to and familiar with Alice Springs. Best Practice software will be in use and around 4 patients will be seen per hour.
Opening hours across the weekdays are from 12 pm – 8 pm and across the weekends from 12pm - 4pm, with no on-call. When busy the nurse will triage the patients and it will be walk-ins only, servicing the whole community. Emergency qualifications are not required but prior experience is desirable as it is expected Cat 3&4 patients will be seen, with Alice Spring Hospital and the full Emergency Department only a 3 minute drive away. In the department will be an X-ray machine and Ultra sound you may be required to use.
Monday to Friday: 12pm - 8pm $1875 per day
Weekends: 12pm - 4pm $1500 per day
Accommodation, flights and car are then provided.

Essential Criteria
- Unrestricted Specialist AHPRA Registration
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Prior experience in Aboriginal Health or in Urgent Care Clinics
