The opportunity
The facility has five GP consultation rooms. You will be supported by other Drs, a Registrar, 3 nurses, receptionists, and Aboriginal workers, as well as Visiting Allied Health. Working Monday to Friday only and no on-call or weekends required. Appointments are approximately 20-minute. Communicare software.
The location
Halfway between Sydney & Queensland border, you will find this charming river town known for its rich agriculture and for being the birthplace of the iconic Australian Akubra Hats. Make sure you visit the antique stores, indulge yourself at one of the many restaurants and cafes and of course learn about the local Aboriginal culture.
Essential criteria
- FACRRM/FRACGP or VR qualifications and unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Working with Children for NSW *mandatory
- Experience in working within an Indigenous health setting is preferred but not essential
