The Opportunity
Working alongside the part-time GP, you will be based in a bulk billing clinic offering 15 minute appointments and mostly walk-ins. It is open 5 days a week, usually from 8am to 7pm but they are happy for the locum GP to do 9am to 5pm or 9am to 4pm. $1600 is paid daily and Medical Director/Pracsoft software is in used. It is a well-established clinic having opened in 1963. There is full time nursing support as well as allied health services as you provide cover for the principle GP’s who are on leave.

In this metropolitan city you will find plenty to keep you entertained, in particular great coffee, café and foody spots as something this city is famous for. It is also abuzz with art, music, culture and sport so a weekend can easily be spent wandering the laneways famous for their graffiti art, catching a game of AFL, finding a new bar with live music playing, wandering along one of the beach shorelines or even exploring the nearby wine region.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for the role, you must have a specialist registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RACGP.
