Locum VR GP - Northern Rivers Region

• $1650 paid daily plus accommodation & travel support
• Longer blocks and return locums would be ideal
• Work alongside 3 other full time GP's

The Opportunity

With this locum GP role you will be based within a mixed billing group practice who have immediate and ongoing requirements until a more permanent position is filled. With 3 fulltime GP’s there is also full-time nursing support available. With regards to the age range, it is a higher age bracket they primarily cater for, with bulk-billing available for pension and concession card holders. Patients are from a mixed socioeconomic background. With pathology soon due to be on site there is also a podiatrist working 2 days per week. The software in use in Best Practice. As this clinic is also a skin clinic, there is potential for those with interest and experience in that field to be supported.

$1650 is paid daily with accommodation provided along with travel support. There is a Level 1 Registrar in the clinic who is soon due to transition to Level 2 and for those with interest in assisting for a long block, or returning to help the clinic on multiple occasions, assistance with the supervision would be a great help.

Cover is considered from the 30th September onwards.

Essential criteria 

To be successful in applying for this role you must hold FRACGP/FACRRM or VR Qualification, have a current Specialist registration with AHPRA, and full working rights in Australia.
