Locum VR GP + Occupational Health Broken Hill

The Opportunity 

This multidisciplinary health service appointment types include General Practice consultations and around 25% pre-employment medical assessments and WorkCover for the local mining industry. There is also occasional Mental Health presentations with support of onsite Psychologists and overall there is a high focus on preventative medicine for those with chronic disease. In the clinic is GP, imaging, allied health, ultrasound and x-ray services in one space. With full reception cover and support, you will be working alongside another doctor to provide services to a primarily elderly and adult population. Working from Monday to Friday between 08.30am – 17.00pm, there is no on call requirement. Paying $1700 per day, accommodation, flights and hire car are provided and you will be working with Best Practice software.

Essential criteria

To be eligible for this role you must have unrestricted AHPRA specialist registration, RACGP fellowship or equivalent and full working rights. Prior experience with pre-employment medicals and work cover is also required.
