Locum VR GP - Rockhampton Region

The Opportunity

With Best Practice software in use, 15-minute standard consultation times can be supported in this solo clinic urgently looking for assistance whilst the permanent GP takes leave. In terms of presentations, this varies across chronic health issues such as cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal disease, diabetes, obesity, and women's health.

Working Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm, $180 per hour or 65% of total billings is paid and being in a MM5 location, there are the additional Medicare Bulk Billing incentives. There is a part-time practice nurse two days per week who can assist with care plans, ECGs, spirometry, and immunisations as well as a dedicated reception staff member who assists with admin tasks.

Just 40km from Rockhampton itself, you can also explore some of the best the region offers including mountain bike trails. Treetop boardwalks, ancient caves and bushwalking tracks.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this role you must hold AHPRA Specialist registration as a General Practitioner and RACGP Fellowship or equivalent. You must also have full working rights.
