The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an experienced rural doctor who enjoys a varied clinical workload, values working within regional communities and is confident managing a broad range of presentations in a rural hospital setting.
You will provide medical cover across the Emergency Department and inpatient ward rounds, delivering essential care to patients with a variety of acute and general medical needs. The position offers a diverse scope of practice, requiring sound clinical judgement, adaptability and the ability to work autonomously in a rural environment.
The 46-bed public hospital provides a range of healthcare services to the local community, including emergency care and general medicine. This is an opportunity to put your rural medicine experience to use while supporting an important regional healthcare service.

Essential Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

- General registration with AHPRA
