The opportunity
Work in this laid-back small town is varied and exciting, perfect for a Career Medical Officer to experience a rural hospital with excellent support. You will be joining an established team and working an assortment of flexible dates and shifts from $1,600 per day. 9.5 hours per day
The hospital provides both general and specialist health services to surrounding communities. With a great support staff team; and on average 10,000 inpatient admissions and 31,000 outpatient visits annually you are sure to gain some new and interesting cases to add to expand your knowledge base.
The location
Located 11.7km from Devonport via the Bass Highway, and takes roughly 12 minutes to drive to, Latrobe is home to a chocolate festival. It is essentially a quiet town surrounded by rich agricultural lands, bush and woodlands, and is home to the Axeman's Hall of Fame.
Essential criteria
To be eligible for this locum you must have working rights in Australia, registration on AHPRA and have extensive Emergency Medicine experience. PGY6+ Required
