The opportunity
You will be working as an ED CMO in this 29 bed facility with an eight chair Day Surgery and a Renal Unit. The hospital's 24-hour emergency department is equipped with 16 beds catering for adults and children. A paediatric treatment and observation unit and maternity ward are also provided at Queanbeyan District Hospital.

The location
Queanbeyan is a charming town, conveniently located near the Australian capital Canberra. Since it is a small town filled with quiet, tree-lined streets and pleasant houses, you may take a walk around the city center to get yourself acquainted with the local atmosphere. The town’s attractions include the Mysterious Moonlight Tour, Molonglo Gorge, and the Googong Dam. The town doesn’t have a single mall, but you’ll find plenty of unique shops, handmade fairs, and scenic locations. There’s something for everyone in Queanbeyan, from nature lovers to artists.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this locum you must have working rights in Australia, registration on AHPRA and have extensive Emergency Medicine experience.
