The Opportunity

Northam Health Service is a vital healthcare provider in the Avon Valley, offering comprehensive services to the local community and surrounding rural areas and is equipped with 28 acute inpatient beds, 12 sub-acute inpatient beds and 22 same-day beds/chairs (day surgery, chemotherapy and renal). The Emergency Department (ED) at Northam is a busy, regional unit that provides emergency care for a broad range of medical, trauma, and pediatric cases. The department is staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and supported by on-call specialist services, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role offers a great opportunity for doctors to gain experience in a rural setting while being part of a close-knit and supportive team.
