The opportunity

The Bellinger River District Hospital is a 37 bed level D1 facility with a 24-hour Emergency Department and a range of specialist services including emergency medicine, general medicine, day surgery and palliative care. You will be responsible for ED coverage, rapid response on wards, clinical review of inpatients if required, limited ward rounds, admissions through ED and patient transfers.

Back up: Telehealth providing access to FACEMS at Coffs Harbour Health Campus 16 hours per day, 7 days per week

Telehealth providing access to a Senior Registrar at Coffs Harbour Health Campus overnight, 7 nights per week

Essential criteria

To be eligible for this locum you must have

• Australian working rights
• Full AHPRA registration
• PGY4 or greater with 6 months critical care experience (Emergency, Anaesthetics or ICU)
