The opportunity
You will be working as an ED Reg/SRMO in Maitland Hospital which is the one of the largest facilities in the Hunter Valley offering medical support. Services available include rehabilitation, surgical, mental health, dental, renal, maternity and child services, and coronary care/high dependency unit. They also have a 24-hour emergency department. This hospital serves the cities and towns of Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Singleton, Muswellbrook, Dungog and Raymond Terrace.
The location
Maitland is famous for being Australia's oldest wine region and renowned for its iconic Semillions. It's the perfect base for a couples weekend getaway with its blossoming cafe culture, local artisan producers, picturesque heritage villages and fine dining. With its relaxed country feel, well-preserved history, exception foodie culture and proximity to the wine region there’s a lot to enjoy about this part of the Hunter Valley.
