The opportunity
The role may include occasional rostered overtime and occasional rostered 2nd oncall to wards. The hospital is a major rural referral centre with a small remote ED that sees 50-70 presentations a day. The hospital is a designated Mental Health facility, a referral centre for the RFDS and is the only hospital for trauma in Far West NSW.
The location
The hospital is located in the Silver City. It is popular for tourists and adventure seekers alike because of its proximity to the Outback, rich mining and film heritage and trendy cafes. A thriving art scene coupled with a majestic landscape makes this community a prized destination.
Essential criteria
To be eligible for this locum you must have working rights in Australia, registration on AHPRA, and have Emergency Medicine experience.
