The opportunity

Bowen Hospital operates a 24/7 Emergency Department, handling around 40 presentations daily, along with acute inpatient, oncology, renal dialysis, palliative care, and allied health services. It’s a well-supported rural generalist setting ideal for clinicians seeking diverse clinical exposure.

The location

Situated at the top of the Whitsundays, Bowen offers visitors a veritable paradise with eight beautiful beaches to enjoy and explore. The inner reef is just metres from many of Bowen's bays, within minutes of donning your snorkel you can be swimming above a rich environment of corals and fish. Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this locum, you must have

• Australian working rights
• Full AHPRA registration
• PGY5+ with extensive ED experience
• ALS2
