The Opportunity
Ochre Recruitment is seeking an ED SRMO to support Port Macquarie's Hospital on a locum basis.
The Port Macquarie Base Hospital is a 228 bed level five facility with a 24-hour Emergency Department and a range of specialist services including intensive care, cardiology, geriatric, rheumatology, stroke, respiratory, oncology, renal dialysis, general medicine, orthopaedic, urology, vascular, general surgery, mental health, paediatrics and obstetrics.
Additional services include physiotherapy, dietetics, social work, occupational therapy, Aboriginal health and Acute Pain Service. Diagnostic services include pathology, CT scans, nuclear medicine, MRI, ultrasound and general x-ray.
The Location
The Port Macquarie region is located in New South Wales, Australia. It is situated on the Mid-North Coast and is renowned for its natural beauty, stunning beaches, and abundance of wildlife. The region encompasses the town of Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Hinterland, Camden Haven and charming tiny towns and villages throughout.
Known for its extensive beaches, waterways, and excellent swimming and surfing spots, Port Macquarie provides an appealing stopover for those making their way between Sydney and Brisbane. Add in a great food and wine scene, and it’s worth staying a little longer!
