The opportunity
The successful candidate will be supporting the Emergency Department. The hospital is a 143-bed rural public facility with an Emergency Department providing a 24-hour service. All nursing staff has advanced life support skills.
This team is waiting for an ED SMO that will be working with HMO and JMO. Various shifts are available.
The location
This city is in the northwest of Victoria, Australia on the south bank of the Murray River, 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne or 5.5 hours from Adelaide. The city is known to be an excellent holiday destination with a remarkable blend of historical and modern-day amenities. During the day, you can spend your time on the Murray river trying to catch a prized Murray cod or on the water at Lake Boga as you kayak through the tranquil waters. For a quieter activity, you can experience the community's rich history by touring local Aboriginal or pioneer heritage sites.
Essential criteria
To be considered eligible for this role, you must have
- Experience working in charge
- A currency in Advanced Life Support training
- Neonatal Resuscitation confident
- Full AHPRA registration
- Working rights in Australia
