The Opportunity

This locum opportunity is searching for a highly capable ED Specialist to work within the busy Emergency Department at Bathurst Base Hospital, a major regional referral hospital serving the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. The hospital has 148 beds and includes a dedicated 10-bed mental health unit, supporting a broad and diverse patient population across the region. The Emergency Department manages a high volume of presentations and provides a wide scope of acute care, making it an excellent environment for experienced ED Specialists seeking varied and clinically engaging work. As a key regional facility, the department works closely with surrounding rural health services and offers exposure to a mix of trauma, medical, and complex emergency cases, supported by modern facilities and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
