The Opportunity

This locum opportunity is based at Esperance Health Campus, where the Emergency Department has recently undergone a $31.3 million redevelopment to significantly enhance facilities and patient care capabilities. The modernised department now features two dedicated treatment areas along with two state-of-the-art resuscitation bays designed to manage critically ill and trauma patients. Additional upgrades include a specialised acute mental health assessment room, emergency decontamination showers, an isolation room, five monitored treatment bays, private consulting rooms, and a fully equipped procedure room. The redevelopment also introduced an upgraded main entrance with a covered patient set-down area, improving accessibility and patient flow. These enhancements create a contemporary and well-equipped clinical environment for Emergency Medicine doctors working within this important regional healthcare service.
