The Opportunity

This locum opportunity is based at Northam Health Service, a well-equipped regional hospital providing essential healthcare services to communities across the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The facility includes 28 acute inpatient beds, 12 sub-acute inpatient beds, and 22 same-day beds and treatment chairs supporting services such as day surgery, chemotherapy, and renal dialysis. The hospital’s Emergency Department provides care for a broad range of acute presentations and works closely with inpatient teams to manage patient care across the facility. This role is seeking FACEMs to cover 10–12 hour shifts across both the Emergency Department and inpatient wards, offering a varied and engaging clinical workload within a supportive rural hospital environment.
