The Opportunity

Working as a locum in the Karratha Health Campus (the modern facility that replaced the former Nickol Bay Hospital) offers a rich and varied clinical experience in a well‑equipped regional hospital setting. The campus features around 40 inpatient beds, a significantly expanded emergency department, surgical services, a new CT scanner, specialist outpatient areas, maternity and birthing suites, and integrated allied health services — all under one roof. You’ll manage a broad spectrum of presentations, from acute emergency care to inpatient and outpatient consultations, supported by advanced diagnostic and telehealth capabilities that link local clinicians with metropolitan specialists when needed.

The Location

Located in the thriving regional hub of Karratha in the Pilbara, this placement combines meaningful clinical work with access to some of Western Australia’s most dramatic natural landscapes and cultural experiences. Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this locum you must have working rights in Australia, full AHPRA registration and certification of one of the following courses ALS2 / CEMP / REST / REACT / EMST / APLS.
