The Opportunity
Suitable for a Non-VR GP or ED CMO. The hospital provides healthcare to people living in Nelson Bay and surrounding areas. The hospital has a 14-bed acute medical ward that includes two single-bed en-suite rooms, which are used primarily for adult palliative care patients.
This newly refurbished hospital also has a five-bed Emergency Department that provides adult and paediatric emergency care.
The Location
Tomaree is an excellent spot for whale watching and offers a range of scenic walks. The beaches are pretty places for a family barbecue and there are picnic facilities around or enjoy a swim or snorkel or head to One Mile Beach for some surfing. It's the only place in NSW where you can see outcrops of the acid volcanic rock rhyodacite.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this locum, you must have full
- Full working rights in Australia
- General registration with AHPRA
- Relevant emergency medicine experience
