Ochre Health is a national leader in rural medicine, committed to providing the administrative and clinical support you need to thrive. At Ochre Medical Centre Scottsdale, you’ll work in a modern facility featuring five consulting rooms, a three-bay treatment room, and on-site pathology. With a strong CDM program led by experienced nurses and reliable practice management, you can focus entirely on high-quality patient care and mentoring.

Why Scottsdale?

·      Adventure on Your Doorstep: Minutes away from Blue Derby, home to world-class mountain bike trails that draw enthusiasts from around the globe.

·      World-Class Leisure: A short drive to Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm, two of the world’s top-ranked golf courses, and the stunning Bridestowe Lavender Estate.

·      Community & Lifestyle: With a population of ~2,500, Scottsdale offers excellent schools, local wineries, and fresh produce markets—all while being only one hour from Launceston.

·      Clinical Variety: Support the 19-bed Scottsdale Hospital, managing everything from emergency (ATS CAT 1-5) to low-risk maternity and visiting specialists.

You will provide essential care in our purpose-built clinic while supporting the adjacent Scottsdale Hospital. Whether you’re seeking full-time or a custom roster, this is a role where you set the pace and the rewards are significant.

The Perks:

·      Total Package Value: An impressive $525,060 per annum, combining in-clinic earnings (up to $360k) with a daily VMO on-call rate of $145k/year.

·      Sustainable Roster: Enjoy a predictable 1:5 on-call rotation and only one weekend per month.

·      Relocation & Housing: A comprehensive House & Car package (valued at $60k) plus a sign-on and relocation incentive.

·      Government Incentives: MMM5 & DPA location—eligible for a 30% moratorium reduction, GRIP payments up to $23k/year, and various college pathway grants.

·      Full Flexibility: No mandated shifts or days—the role can be restructured to suit your specific lifestyle or family needs.

·      Site Visit Grant: A $2,000 grant is available for eligible applicants to come and experience the Scottsdale community firsthand.
