GP VMO/ ED- Leeton Hospital

• $3000 per day

• Work includes all ED and some inpatient work

The opportunity

Leeton hospital requires locum cover from 9 March 2024 onwards. Work includes all ED and some inpatient work. GP VMO is on site from 8am- 6pm, and then on call from 6pm- 8am for triage 1 & 2. All travel and accommodation is covered.

The location

Leeton hospital is located in the Riverina region of NSW, about 50 minutes east of Griffith . Leeton is known as Australia's rice capital and has a population of about 11,500 people. Attractions include the Murrumbidgee National Park, various Museums & Galleries, as well as beautiful picnic sites.

Essential criteria

To be successful for this position, you must have;

• Fellowed GP
• Recent Regional ED experience,
• Familiar with eMR,
• Completed ALS within the last 3 years
• Desirable to have worked in the NSWH system previously
