About the Company
Ochre Health is a national leader in rural medicine, and at Ochre Medical Centre St Marys, we pride ourselves on being small, close-knit, and community-focused. You’ll join a team that includes a local GP, a supportive nursing team, and dedicated admin staff. We value clinical excellence, a sense of humor, and the kind of doctor who wants to be a true part of the community they serve.
Why St Marys?
· Coastal Access: You are just 10 minutes from Tasmania’s stunning East Coast and its world-famous white sand beaches.

· Nature at Your Door: Surrounded by waterfalls, hiking trails, and the rugged beauty of the Douglas-Apsley National Park.
· The "Local" Feel: It’s a place with a legendary pub, great coffee, and a community that will know your name (and probably your coffee order) in no time.
· City Connection: When you need a city fix, Launceston is only 90 minutes away.

· High-Yield Earnings: In-clinic earnings up to $390k, plus a daily VMO on-call rate totaling $200k/year.
· Sustainable Roster: A balanced 1:2 on-call rotation (7 days VMO followed by 7 days GP-only), with the flexibility to restructure for the right candidate.
· Housing & Travel: A comprehensive House & Car package (valued at $60k). We provide the house even if you live further out, ensuring a proper night's sleep while on call.
· Government Incentives: MMM5 & DPA location—eligible for significant moratorium reductions, WIP, Rural Procedural Grants, and various college pathways (RVTS/ACRRM).
