Indigenous Health - Locum VR GP

The opportunity

You will be providing much needed primary and acute healthcare to these unique communities. You'll be working alongside two experienced GPs and well supported by excellent Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and visiting Allied Health Specialists. The clinic are running on walk-ins currently due to being down a GP but usually appointment times are 20 mins plus walk-ins in the morning session. Software is Communicare.

Hours are 8:30 - 4:45 with a 45 min lunch break. All travel and accommodation is provided.

The location  

Based on the North West Coastal Highway, this locum is located in one of the oldest Pilbara towns known by its heritage and striking landscape. Be prepared to enjoy your weekends with a great deal of activities, you can choose between hiking in the Ngurin Bush Tucker Trail, relaxing at the Harding River Dam. Or take the drive south of the coast towards the Coral Bay region where you can immerse yourself in the forever ending biodiversity the Western Coast of Australia has to offer!

Essential Criteria  

• FRACGP or VR qualifications 

• General or Specialist registration with AHPRA
