Locum AMS VR GP - Mossman Gorge, QLD (MMM5)

The Opportunity

This is an exciting locum opportunity in Mossman Gorge, located at the edge of the Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland. You’ll work alongside another GP, supported by a team of nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners, providing high-quality, culturally appropriate primary healthcare.

The clinic uses Communicare software, with consultations set at a minimum of 20 minutes. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no after-hours, on-call, or weekend work required. A minimum three-week commitment is required. Accommodation is provided in a modern one-bedroom apartment in nearby Port Douglas, giving you the perfect balance of rewarding work and coastal lifestyle.

How to get there

Essential criteria

·        Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM

·        Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration

·        Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

·        Experience in rural or remote healthcare, ideally Indigenous health

·        Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal communities
