The opportunity
You will be working in a 17-bed Emergency Department. The department consists of two SMOs per shift, nursing staff, and after-hours Consultants who are available if required. The locum will be based in the Emergency Department covering the night shift from 2230 to 0830.
The location
Mount Gambier is a region filled with a plethora of natural wonders. The geological landmarks in the area include inactive volcanoes, lush sinkholes, limestone caves, turquoise lakes, secluded beaches and national parks. Notably, the Cenotes Sinkholes are a must-see ancient natural landmark filled with aqua water, underwater networks (perfect for snorkelling and diving) and bordered by lush greenery, sprouted from thousand-year-old volcanic ash.
Essential criteria
To be eligible for this locum, you must be fully registered with AHPRA and has recent experience in emergency medicine. A SA WWCC is essential. Must be PGY6 or greater.
