The opportunity
You will be working in this 300 bed hospital as an ED SMO alongside a great support staff team. This hospital has roughly 25000 ED presentations annually and services in anaesthetics, acute care, pathology, surgery, allied health, renal services, oncology, rehab, medical imaging and more. Due to the idyllic location, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy tropical Queensland in your down-time.
The location
Mackay is located off the Coral Sea Coast of Queensland; a picturesque and breath-taking spot, wherein snorkelling, fishing and hiking are readily available for those seeking a little adventure in their time off. This is a great location to bring the family with you on a working holiday; with water-parks, beaches and parks scattered throughout the region.
Essential criteria
To be successful in applying for this role, you must have an AHPRA registration with no restrictions and an up to date ALS, PAL (APLS) EMST etc as applicable.
