The Opportunity
Forbes hospital needs locum cover from March 2024- Onwards. Locums will work in the Ward and the Emergency Department. Provide onsite medical care to inpatients admitted to the ward as well as the Emergency Department. Will need to remain in the ED until 10:30pm or later if required and then be on call and must return to the ED when requested by nursing staff. Operations assistant for emergency C- sections when on duty.

Forbes has long been known for its grand heritage buildings set alongside gorgeous riverbanks and leafy parks. Forbes is a procedural hospital with a capacity of 27 beds and 2 birthing rooms.
Essential criteria
- Full Australian working rights & specialist registration on AHPRA.
- ALS2 or equivalent
- Experience in rural remote settings
- Recent Experience working in ED
