The opportunity

Pick up a flexible locum placement close to home with a whanau-centred group across multiple clinic locations in Hamilton. Due to increased patient demand the team have an immediate need for locum support and long term positions available too. The team are committed to providing critical primary care to the surrounding communities and whanau with a strong tikanga maori based approach to better health solutions for all.

Work the days and sessions that suit you with anything from 2-10 sessions available. This role would suit local candidates as accommodation is not provided and Maori practitioners are strongly encouraged to apply.

The location 

Located in a small town, Hamilton is less than an hour away from Auckland. There is plenty to do for the outdoorsy types with access to a number of great walking tracks, caves and black water rafting. For those who want to enjoy some culture enjoy Hamilton’s numerous cafes and restaurants. There are plenty of activities to enjoy with the kids such as Hamilton Zoo, Hamilton Gardens or even a hot air balloon ride. 

Essential criteria

To apply for this position you must hold current work rights and registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
