Locum GP - Hawke's Bay

The opportunity

This exciting role won't last long in this large, popular group working over two modern and well-supported practices. They offer a full service of healthcare including health checks, immunizations and health and well-being advice, for parents and guardians, to older people and youth. The team is dedicated to providing the best possible care for our community in a safe, supportive environment. 6-9 sessions per week. Utilizes Medtech32 but will shift to Medtech Evolution in February 2023.

An ideal applicant will be familiar with the region and communities and ideally have connections or cultural awareness of the local iwi.

The location  

Located in a beautiful provincial centre on the East Coast of the North Island with approximately 162,000 population. It enjoys stunning scenery and a temperate climate with sunny dry summers. The district enjoys exceptional schools, restaurants and wineries and hosts frequent cultural events. They're unlimited opportunities for outdoor and sporting pursuits.

Essential criteria  

To be eligible to apply for this position you must hold or be eligible for general scope of practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
