The Opportunity
Share the week on week off role with a permanent Doctor
All day shifts from 7:30am-6pm with NO on call!
General Medical Inpatient doctor with primary responsibility to manage medical/psychiatric inpatients. This is usually a Rural Generalist Consultant or a senior registrar.
2 RMO’s working alongside you from 8:30am-4:30pm
Anaesthetist on site to help with resuscitation and will manage all airways
Travel and accommodation can be provided a day either side. In-between weeks a place to store belongings if you decide to stay and travel!
Port Augusta Hospital uses an electronic medical record (Sunrise eMR) since Dec 2013. If not already Sunrise eMR trained, Doctors are required to complete 90 minutes of online
Sunrise eMR training prior to arrival followed by approximately three hours face to face training on arrival.

Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you will be an AHPRA registered GP with current ALS2 and CPD within the last 3years supplied.
