The opportunity
This hospital is looking for motivated House Officers 2nd year or above who are keen to step up and take on the extra responsibility and opportunities provided at this Hospital. You will gain exposure to a number of different runs, each run is 3 months in duration. We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated and takes initiative. It is a small busy hospital with 26 Interns.
They only have 4 registrars, so you get unrivaled opportunities to work directly with Consultants and gain much more exposure to a wider range of presentations with increased learning and responsibility - ensuring an enviable broad skill base that you will put to excellent use
Roster will be:
1 weekend
2 weekend nights
1 week of nights
Some long days
The location
They are situated on the sunny coast of South Canterbury which is a ‘stone’s throw’ away from the sea, mountains, lakes, rivers and bush land. We are the gateway to ski fields, hiking treks and an abundance of sports and adventure tourism.
Essential criteria
You must have or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
