The Opportunity
This is an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced GP to provide comprehensive primary healthcare in a well-established Aboriginal Health clinic in Broken Hill, NSW. You’ll work as part of a cohesive multi-disciplinary team including GPs, nurses, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners, all dedicated to improving health outcomes for the local community.
The clinic serves both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients, meaning you’ll see a mix of booked appointments and walk-ins, offering a broad range of presentations. Using Medical Director software, you’ll consult Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no emergency department duties, on-call shifts, or weekend work required. Minimum commitment of two weeks.

Essential criteria
- Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM
- Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Experience in rural or remote primary care, ideally Indigenous health
- Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal communities
